Studies said that Brain injured patients that have been in a car wreck or a serious accident can relearn emotions. Study says that TBI patients cannot tell sad sad, angry, or surprised faces apart most of the time, but they can re-learn how to process and tell those emotions apart, which well lessen the toll on the family of the brain damaged patient.
